Overview
A few minutes of downtime on a busy evening is enough to reveal the difference between a site that "usually works" and a site that is professionally supported. A dead payment gateway at two in the morning, a database failure, a traffic spike in the middle of a campaign — these are the moments when the cost of having no support becomes painfully clear. PBDP's 24/7 technical support means an expert team watches your website, servers and software regardless of hour, date or holiday: a defined service level agreement (SLA), guaranteed response times and a documented escalation path. Depending on "a friend who knows computers" during office hours is over; monitoring is our job and peace of mind is yours.
What 24/7 technical support actually covers
Around-the-clock support is not simply "answering the phone." The service perimeter includes continuous monitoring of uptime for the site, APIs and services; review of server resource logs (CPU, RAM, disk, bandwidth); fast incident response and outage root-cause analysis; fixing panel and content errors; investigating payment gateway and SMS failures; and coordinating with hosting and data centre providers. Whether you run your own VPS or dedicated server, or host on managed cloud infrastructure, the monitoring layer sits on top of it. For sites that only need light monthly care, a website maintenance and support plan may be enough — but when business continuity depends on being online at 3 a.m., you need an on-call team with a defined SLA.
What you get delivered
- A written service level agreement: incident severity levels, committed response and resolution times, and remedies for missed targets — all in a signed, citable contract.
- Monitoring dashboard and alerting: live checks of the site, services and server resources with SMS and email alerts plus a monthly visual uptime report.
- Ticketing system and a night desk: every request logged, prioritised and traceable, with a dedicated engineer on duty after hours, overnight and on public holidays.
- Root-cause analysis reports: after every major incident you receive a written breakdown of what happened, what fixed it and how recurrence is prevented.
- Security and server coordination: in sensitive incidents, specialists in security updates and monitoring and server management join the front line.
- Periodic reporting and review meetings: monthly and quarterly reviews of incidents, response times and recurring problems with structural fix proposals.
- Full technology coverage: WordPress and Joomla, Laravel and Node.js back ends, React and Vue interfaces, cPanel and Plesk panels, plus payment and SMS gateways.
How the work is delivered
- Current-state audit and scoping: a full inventory of sites, servers, panels and dependencies; on request this step is deepened through a technical audit.
- SLA design: severity levels, guaranteed response windows and coverage hours (business hours or 24/7) set around your real business rhythm.
- Monitoring rollout: installing agents and probes, defining alert thresholds and connecting notification channels to your team.
- Runbooks and escalation path: documenting common scenarios and drawing the chain of fire — from help desk to senior engineer to data centre.
- Go-live and continuous improvement: formal service start, monthly trend analysis, threshold tuning and, where useful, a smart chatbot absorbing repetitive questions.
The difference between a real SLA and "24/7 support" as a slogan
Most contracts print "24/7 support" on the cover, yet the first real call reveals that whoever is on shift has neither access nor authority. A genuine SLA means testable, numeric commitments: fifteen-minute response for severity-one incidents, a workaround inside an hour, full resolution with a root-cause report. We log every incident timestamp inside the client dashboard; mean time to resolution (MTTR) is calculated and reported monthly, and if the numbers slip, the remedy clause activates. This transparency turns support from a black box into a data-driven service. If your stack runs on Linux web hosting, coordinating with the hosting provider is part of the same documented process.
Frequently asked questions
How does 24/7 support differ from website maintenance?
Maintenance is a set of scheduled, predefined tasks: core updates, weekly backups, minor content edits. Around-the-clock support is incident-driven — the moment an alarm fires, the team moves. The two are complementary, and many clients run both a monthly maintenance plan and an on-call SLA contract on top of it.
What is the minimum response time under the contract?
It depends on severity. In the default model a critical incident (full outage, broken payments) is answered within fifteen minutes with effective action inside an hour; performance degradation within an hour; routine requests within business hours. Final numbers are fixed in the SLA based on your needs and infrastructure.
What happens if the outage originates with the data centre or host?
We root-cause it from the very first minute. If the fault sits outside your application, we open a tracked ticket with the provider, pursue and escalate it on your behalf, and if needed bring the site up on a fallback environment. Experience shows that most "hosting problems" are resolved or mitigated by correct configuration.
If you are tired of nobody picking up the phone during a crisis, contact the PBDP support team — we will assess your current monitoring setup free of charge and recommend the right SLA.
